happy new year.

2006 is already off to a really great start, but there will be no forgetting 2005. it was a good year, and in tribute:

• Mall trips in our pajamas, as well as very frequent visits to Starbucks and Coffee People.
• Painting a Harry Potter door. (Also, the priceless commentary received on said door, and especially the placement of a certain broomstick, from Mrs. Fleenor and Mr. Fykes.)
  
• Ken and Nancy's joint birthday party, in which Ben was appointed the honorary Points Princess, Scott acted like a chicken, and numerous prank phone calls were made. And a surprise guest appearance from Betty the blow-up doll.
• Taking Pat out to Azteca for Valentine's day and presenting him with a fluffy pink bunny.
  
• Deciding to "get lost" with Misha and Cynda and ending up stealing salt shakers, charging into the ocean, drinking applesauce through a straw, screaming at each other in Bulgarian accents (but really just sounding like Russian hookers), dancing on top of the car, and doing other such things of a rebellious nature.
