my tulips are coming up too and they started blooming this week only not the big pretty red ones because the slugs got to those. i caught a ridiculous amount of slugs with some beer (they can't help themselves apparently and then they drown in it... go figure) but they still chewed up my tulips. mercilessly. i feel bad for the poor guys but it's them or the tulips and the tulips are prettier. that's a terrible reason.

magda magda why don't you answer a phone. Why are you not online. Are you sleeping in your hammock? Is your sister hogging the phone? Is everyone at hillsboro? Are you ignoring me? Should I come over and flip your hammock upside down thrusting you down upon your tulips crushing their very souls as you have taken the souls from the helpless slugs?!?
You should think about that.
